Emergency First Response Instructor Course Description

Whether you are a diver or not, Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation and first aid techniques are essential to master in everyday life.
As an Emergency First Response Instructor, you will now be able to teach these techniques based on internationally recognized guidelines, in order to teach as many people as possible how to deal with an emergency situation and administer first aid.
Once trained, your students will be ready to help someone in need!

If you want to become a PADI Instructor,
you must be an EFRiholder.

Conditions of registration

To access Emergency First Response Instructor training, you must:
Be at least 18 years old
Hold Emergency First Response Primary Care and Secondary Care training
(CPR and first aid) for less than 24 months.

Academic

During the Emergency First Response Instructortraining, you will learn how to structure and organize EFR courses.

The goal of this program is for you to be able to teach CPR and first aid techniques, all in a positive learning environment.

Here are the points discussed during this EFRi training:

Present the course content.
Encourage students’ self-confidence.
Assess students’ understanding and mastery of techniques during practical exercises.
Manage learning experiences based on realistic scenarios.

Start your EFR Instructor Training

You will then be able to complete the self-study and knowledge reviews in the instructor’s guide.
We will also plan together, the practical sessions to complete your training!

Equipement

First of all, you will need to acquire the PADI EFRi Instructor Kit, available in our PADI center.
During the training, all the necessary equipment will be at your disposal, but we advise you to have your own equipment, such as the first aid kit, pocket mask … also available in our store!
