Description of the Open Water training
The PADI Open Water Diver course is the most famous course in the world. Indeed, this easy and progressive training is within the reach of anyone wishing to discover the fascinating underwater world.
Several of our dive sites, Isoletta, Crau de Nao, Pointe Sainte Hospice, Grande Baie and others, are perfectly suited for this course. We can thus achieve a smooth learning.

Conditions of registration
To register for a PADI Open Water Diver no diving experience is required. Within everyone’s reach, you must:
Know how to swim.
Be at least 10 years old.
Be in good physical shape (medical certificate required).
The PADI Open Water Diver course is divided into three main parts:
A theoretical part that can be done online , by reading the Open Water Diver manual. The objectives are to understand the basic principles of scuba diving.
Dives in a protected environment, to acquire basic techniques.
Dives in a natural environment, to put into practice the techniques learned and of course to make explorations.

If you don’t have enough time available, then the course PADI Scuba Diver may be exactly what you need.
It includes in particular a mask, fins, a regulator, a stabilizing vest, a full suit (man, woman, child) but also measuring instruments and a diving tank.

A web-based system, allowing you to study at your own pace in an interactive and easy-to-use program. You must complete all sections to obtain your PADI Open Water Diver certification.
There are other ways of independent study. The Open Water Diver Touch ™ , the Open Water Diver manual, the Open Water Diver video. Go through our PADI Dive Center to register for this course, you procure the materials and begin studying the manual and video. Our PADI instructors are waiting for you to make an appointment and plan your training.
Complete the five theoretical training sessions, including the Questionnaires and the Final Exam.
Complete Dives 1-5 in a protected environment.
Meet the requirements for the assessment of ease in water.
Complete Dives 1-4 in a natural environment.
